Our goal is to offer a classic and enjoyable summer camp experience to all our young guests by involving them in fun and imaginative activities throughout the day. With a wide variety of activities to choose from, every camper is bound to find something they enjoy at Anchor Day Camp.
Sailing, Paddleboard & Swim
At Anchor Day Camp, campers can enjoy a fantastic sailing experience on the Great South Bay. Our skilled instructors guide beginners and intermediate sailors, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment. From learning knots to practical on-water lessons, our paradise on the Great South Bay is the perfect place to nurture a love for sailing and water activities.
Our unique access to the Great South Bay allows us to offer exciting opportunities to experience not only sailing but also paddleboarding. Swimming is an integral part of the day, too, and we have a sizeable Olympic-sized pool where our lifeguards provide progressive swim instruction while ensuring safety.
In addition, club members can also take private or semi-private swim and sail lessons.
Land Sports & Arts & Crafts
At the Anchor Day Camp, we offer a wide range of exciting and engaging activities for our campers. Our sports program includes tennis, basketball, and GAGA, as well as many other age-appropriate recreational activities. We believe that sports and physical activity are an essential part of a healthy lifestyle, and our experienced instructors ensure that every camper receives the proper guidance and support to improve their skills and have fun.
In addition to our sports program, we also offer arts and crafts sessions, where campers can explore their creative side and express themselves through various art forms.
Special Events & Trips
No camp would be complete with adding color, energy and silly fun. From engaging in a Color War to dressing up as their favorite Disney characters, from participating in Olympics to enjoying other fun-filled activities, kids are sure to have a blast while attending the camp program. To make the experience more enriching, the camp also organizes field trips to local beaches, state parks, movies, and Top Golf, which offer not only a change of pace but also a chance to explore new places and create lasting memories.
