Our water-based activities include sailing, swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding, while sports include basketball, soccer, and volleyball. Our arts and crafts activities are designed to unlock the creativity of our campers with activities such as painting, drawing, and pottery.

Sailing and Steam
Anchor Day Camp offers a diverse range of programs to cater to your child's interests and passions. Among these programs, sailing holds a significant place, and we take pride in our curriculum that instills comprehensive learning in this field.
Our one-week Sail & Steam mini-camp program is designed to provide a more immersive experience that delves deeper into the fundamentals of sailing. This program is tailored to cater to sailors of all proficiency levels, including those who are aspiring, intermediate, or advanced, making it an ideal choice for anyone who wants to develop their skills and passion for sailing.
Our Steam summer program is designed to promote creativity and mental stimulation among children. We achieve this through various fun Steam activities like building fundamentals, coding, imagineering, flight patterns, weight displacement on water, and more. We also incorporate a bit of mad science to engage their creative minds and help them learn and make new friends in their summer home!

Day Trips, Special Events
and Theme Days
Something for Everyone
We have added some exciting new activities to our traditional camp program. On top of the regular camp fun, we will be taking day trips to places like Top Golf, bowling alleys, local beaches, and movie theaters. These trips will be paired with special event and theme days such as College Day Olympics, Luau, Halloween, Dancing with the Stars, and Disney Theme Days. These events will surely add energy and color to our summer camp, creating an experience full of fun and excitement!

 LIYC’s Anchor Day Camp is an amazing experience for school-aged children. It is run by a fantastic team of directors and counselors who take great care of the campers and truly make summer a blast for them!
